I am having trouble activating my Student TRACKS account

There are a few scenarios that may present trouble when activating your TRACKS account:

  • If you are a newly admitted Melbourne Campus student and you can access PAWS successfully, but still don't have access to your email: Proceed to the Admitted Student Portal and make sure you have no pending actions to complete.

  • If you are a newly admitted Continuing Education, Extended Studies, Online Learning, or ABA student, you will receive an email from the Technical Support office when your account is ready to be activated.  This process can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours after the Admissions department marks your account as having completed all the necessary actions.  Please be sure to check your SPAM or JUNK email folders, just in case the email makes it in there.  If it has been more than 72 hours since you have been admitted, and you have received no email, or if it has been more than 72 hours since you received the activation link, then proceed to reset your password to activate your account. (Do not click "Activation Form.")

  • If you know have been a Florida Tech student in the past, and you know both your TRACKS username and password, you can proceed to change your password.

What do I do if I still can't activate or use my TRACKS account?

If all the above steps fail, then please click the Request Activation Help button on this page and fill in the questionnaire.  A technician will look through your account and call you back with the relevant information as soon as possible.

What to Expect

Once the request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket number, including a link to view the status of your request.

Next Steps

Keep track of updates to your ticket and engage with IT technician(s) through the confirmation email notification or the Ticket Requests section.
