Overview
Firewalls are designed to protect network traffic and connections and may limit network traffic to prevent unauthorized access to a private network.
Information Technology maintains firewall devices on network hardware to ensure that the campus network is protected from internal and external electronic threats. In certain circumstances, an application or host may require an exception be made to firewall to allow network access.
What to Expect
Complete the Firewall Request Form (attached at right) and/or the vendor's application configuration manual, then select the Submit Request button located on this page.
Once the request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket number, including a link to view the status of your request.
