VPN Access/Support


Florida Tech's Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides secure access to University network resources as if you were on campus, no matter where you are in the world.  VPN should be used to remotely access your office computer, network drives, network printers, and file sharing.   

VPN is not required when using Outlook, accessing internal websites Library electronic databases, Webadvisor, and Canvas.

Connecting to VPN requires the installation of the Fortinet Security Client.  Please see the above Knowledge Base Article for step-by-step instruction.

This service is to request access to use the VPN.

What to Expect

Select the Get VPN button located on this page to initiate your request.  

Once the request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket number, including a link to view the status of your request.

Next Steps

Keep track of updates to your ticket and engage with IT technician(s) through the confirmation email notification or the Ticket Requests section.
