Find Your PIN
-
Sign in to The Hub with your Florida Tech account.
-
On the Home page, open the Academic tab.
- Go to the Holds & PINs section. The Registration PINs card shows:
- Your next PIN, for example Spring 2027: 123456, or
- None revealed, if your advisor hasn't released any PINs yet.
- Click the card to open the Registration PINs window, which lists every term.
For each term you'll see:
- The PIN, if your advisor has released it. Click the copy icon to copy it.
- Not available yet, if it hasn't been released.
- Registration window: when you can register for that term.
Use Your PIN
-
Copy the PIN from The Hub.
-
Sign in to PAWS and go to registration.
- Enter the PIN when PAWS asks for it.
Registration opens at the start of your Registration window. You can't register before then, even with a PIN.
If Your PIN Isn't Available Yet
You will see Not available yet. Contact your advisor or your department's student coordinator to get it.
Quick Answers
My advisor said they released my PIN, but I don't see it. Click Refresh at the top of the Academic tab. If it's still not there, ask your advisor to check.
The PIN doesn't work in Banner. Check that you're registering for the same term as the PIN, and that your registration window has opened. Also check the Holds & PINs section for holds. A hold can block registration even with the right PIN.
I don't see a Registration PINs card at all. You may not have a PIN for any upcoming term. Contact your advisor.
Should I share my PIN? No. Keep your PIN private.
