Panther Mobile for Apple Devices 

Florida Tech now offers a mobile alternative to carrying your physical Panther Card. Panther Mobile is still your official Florida Tech ID card, but offers the convenience of digital accessibility on your Apple iPhone and/or Apple Watch.  

With Panther Mobile, students, faculty, and staff can use their Apple devices phone to access campus buildings and make purchases at dining locations. 

COMING SOON! Panther Mobile will also be accepted at vending machines.

Cardholders can view meal plans, FlexCredit, and Panther Cash balances at-a-glance on Panther Mobile. It can also be instantly issued or revoked, offering an added level of control and fraud protection for cardholders. 

We recommend you continue to carry your physical Panther Card (if you have one) with you for use as campus identification.

Participation in Panther Mobile is voluntary at this time. Panther Card users who do not elect to use Panther Mobile may continue using their card as normal.

Getting Started 

Ensure you have an iPhone SE, iPhone 7 or later device that runs iOS 12 or later. 

  • You can also use Panther Mobile on Apple Watch Series 1 and later devices running Watch OS 5 or later – but setup needs to take place on your iPhone. 

To enhance the security of Panther Mobile, your Apple device must be registered on Florida Tech’s DUO two-factor authentication platform

You will also need to have an approved Panther Card photo. If you have not done so yet, upload a photo. If you do not already have an approved Panther Card photo or upload a new photo, you will not be able to use Panther Mobile. 

Steps to Setup Your iPhone

1.  Ensure you are signed into iCloud with your Apple ID. 

2.  Download the GET Mobile app from the App Store. 

3.  Open the GET Mobile app on your iPhone. 

4.  Type Florida Tech in the search box and choose it from the dropdown list. 

5.  Log in using your TRACKS username and password, and then complete the DUO authentication. 

6.  Choose whether or not to Enable Face ID. 

7.  Set a PIN for Panther Mobile.

8.  Enter your phone number, if requested.

9.  Select the Add to Apple Wallet button, then select your iPhone. 

10.  Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

11. On the Add Card to Wallet screen, tap Next in the upper right corner.

11.  Follow the onscreen instructions to complete adding your card. Your Panther Mobile Card will now be provisioned in your Apple Wallet and on your iPhone.

Note: Do not delete the GET Mobile app. If you delete the GET Mobile app, the Panther Mobile option and usage functions will be removed as well. 

Steps to Setup Your Apple Watch

After following the steps above, you can then provision Panther Mobile on your Apple Watch.

1.  Ensure your Apple Watch is signed into the same iCloud account as your iPhone.

2.  From within the GET Mobile app on your iPhone, select the Add to Apple Wallet button again.

3.  On the Add Card to Wallet screen, tap Next in the upper right corner.

4.  Follow the onscreen instructions to complete adding your card. Your Panther Mobile Card will now be provisioned on your Apple Watch.

Note: Do not delete the GET Mobile app. If you delete the GET Mobile app, the Panther Mobile option and usage functions will be removed as well. 

Troubleshooting

Ensure that you are signed into iCloud with your Apple ID.  If you are using both an iPhone and an Apple Watch, both devices must be signed into the same iCloud account.
