This is an overview of Operating Systems for which we have registered a product life cycle giving you a clear view of upcoming End-of-Life (EOL) dates and extended support periods, when available.
If you have a system running that is EOL, we recommend backing up your data and upgrading as soon as possible. If these systems are connected to the internet, they can be blocked from the internet by IT.

MacOS follows a sliding window of support, the latest version has full support and the previous two versions receive security update. When a new version is released, security support is dropped for the version which is now 3 years old.
With the introduction of Windows 11, Microsoft revised their product lifecycle. There will be a single yearly release for both windows 10 and 11 going forward. Each Windows 10 release will be good for 30 months, and each Windows 11 Release will be good for 36 months. Windows 10 will go final end of life on October 14, 2025.
