Find Your Advisor

  1. Sign in to Florida Tech Hub with your Florida Tech account.
  2. On the Home page, open the Academic tab at the top.
  3. Scroll down to the History section. You can also click the History chip in the row of section links at the top of the page to jump straight there.
  4. Look at the Assigned advisors list.

On a phone: The History section has two tabs, Programs and Advisors. Tap Advisors.

Reading the advisor list

Each advisor entry shows:

  • Name
  • Email address. Click it to send your advisor an email.
  • Dates the advisor has been (or will be) assigned to you
  • Status:
    • Current: your advisor now
    • Upcoming: an advisor who will be assigned to you soon
    • Past: a previous advisor
  • Priority: Your primary advisor is marked primary.

Your primary advisor is the entry marked both Current and primary. Current advisors are listed first. If the list is long, click Show all to see past advisors.

Book an Appointment with Your Advisor

  1. Go to My Booking from the side menu or the shortcuts on the Home page.
  2. Click New Appointment.
  3. Choose a service. A service provided by your own advisor shows the Your advisor label and the message "This service is provided by your advisor, [name]." These services are listed at the top of their category.
  4. Pick a date. Time slots with your advisor are marked Assigned Advisor.
  5. Click In-person or Online on your time slot, then complete your booking.

Quick Answers

The list says "No advisors on record." You may not have an advisor assigned yet. This is common for new students early in their first term. Contact the Student Success and Support Center for help.

My advisor information looks wrong or out of date. Advisor assignments come from the university's student records system. Contact your academic department or the Student Success and Support Center to get it corrected.

I have more than one current advisor. Some students have both a primary advisor and other advisors, for example in a second major or a special program. Your primary advisor is the one marked primary.

I want to change my advisor. Florida Tech Hub can't change advisor assignments. Ask your academic department about the process.
